I am a Professor of Software Engineering at the School of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (http://csd.auth.gr) since 2015 (Staff member since 1996). Currently I am also the Director of the Postgraduate Master Course in Interactive Hardware & Software Technologies (https://ihst.csd.auth.gr/en/ ).

I mostly work on research about (a) open source software, (b) various areas of software engineering (software process mining, blockchain based software, sensor based apps, reuse) and (c) enterprise information systems (business process tools).

My current major funded projects are (a) the Deep Blue / AUTH Research and Innovation Hub (forthcoming), (b) Augmented/Virtual Reality for Warehouse Management Systems (2018-2020) and (c) BlockAdemic (2020-2022), for certifying micro-credentials over a blockchain platform. I recently worked on Open Source Policy Studies for the European Commission (2018-2020).
